When you first enter our animal hospital, you’ll notice right away that we do things a little differently. We put the needs of our pets and their families first, providing service with a smile. We are a kid-friendly animal clinic, and welcome the entire family to come along for your pet’s wellness check-up! We offer balloons, coloring books, and toys to keep your kids entertained and learn more about pet care. Our examining rooms are designed with the needs of both you and your pet for ultimate comfort. We offer big screens in the clinic and exam rooms so your veterinarian can explain any necessary treatments in detail while showing you your pet’s x-rays and test results.
Just like in humans, proactive wellness care is essential to keeping your pet healthy. At our animal hospital, we recommend an annual health care check-up for your pet. During this visit, our veterinarian will perform a full physical exam and conduct diagnostic blood work, along with a fecal sample exam. These tests help our vet detect any internal health problems. As pets age, they are at risk for a number of age-related conditions, such as thyroid disease in cats or arthritis in dogs. Semi-annual exams ensure our veterinary care team stays on top of your pet’s health, and can take proactive steps to keep your pet healthy, active and comfortable.
Pet vaccinations are one of the most important preventive measures for protecting your pet’s health. We offer vaccine protocols for both cats and dogs, including the puppy and kitten shot 
series. As part of our Animal Care Group services, we track your pet’s vaccination and veterinary records to ensure your pet is always up to date on necessary vaccines. Many vaccines, including rabies, require annual boosters to remain effective.
In the event of a health emergency, we have experienced staff on duty six days a week. No appointment is required – simply call our animal hospital and our vet technician will be ready to meet you and your pet upon arrival. Our surgical suite features the latest technology for precise diagnosis and operations, including digital radiology and endoscopy. In many cases, this allows Dr. Nairn to diagnose your pet’s health problems without the needs for exploratory surgery. We are also fully experienced to spay and neuter your pets.
